What a fantastic post! I'm planning on moving to the Twin Cities in the near future and was thinking about ditching my car altogether. Especially since while visiting last weekend I had my car towed, which cost me over $200. Not very encouraging to say the least. I live in Ames, Iowa now and I regularly bike commute year-round. I also have a 64" trailer that I use to haul groceries and other cargo. I was concerned about the bike friendliness of the cities, but this and other posts have been an inspiration. Thank you!
