I have a girlfriend who did that same thing @ Bill's Gun Shop, and loved it. She also said it was an inexpensive experience. Tempting, but alas I don't think I could ever do that. Now if this is the same friend looking to do derby, we have our annual tryouts next Sunday (the 29th.) She'll need to email Honeydew Felon about going...it's from 1 to 5 pm. And if she needs hints on where to skate and what to do preparation-wise, lots of us can tell her what to expect somewhat.
